All-Stars Episode 12: Back To The Bottom

The dramatics of the rock draw leaves the winning side unable to contain their glee, and Victoria in tears. Ashley explains to Alex that she didn't want to vote for him but it wasn't her call. Now Eric wants Victoria or Chris T out so he can get the partner twist. Outside of the game, Eric and Ashley have a date that goes badly.

Who will be top of the class?
The immunity challenge is to answer harsh questions and then try to guess the majority answer. Shannon wins most attractive, which everyone gets right. Ashley wins the mute button. The person you'd want to introduce to your parents goes to Micah. Evan is voted the person who thinks they're running the game, though Ashley says Chris T for some reason. Shannon and Alex are in the lead with 3 for 3. Ashley is voted most improved player, and Victoria the player you'd least like to talk to after the game. The most trusted is Shannon, and Eric the player you'd not give a drink of water to. Chris T, Victoria and Evan are tied at the top now. Ashley is voted least deserving, Chris T voted biggest liar. Chris T just needs the last question to win, and gets it when he picks Evan as most deserving. 2nd pacers Evan, Micah and Victoria have a tiebreak for the idol clue (guessing the number of days Jordan has played), which Evan gets.

Holli is happy Evan and Micah got all the good superlatives and not her, since they're going to be targets. The majority want Victoria out to break up the partners, but are worried Chris T would play an idol on her. Holli suggests Alex, but Ashley doesn't want to. Victoria and Chris T are getting along much better now, and agree they should save Shannon if they can.

Not wanting to target anyone else, Holli and Ashley talk about voting out Shannon. Which would give the partner immunity to the other side and force them to turn on eachother, but they're fine with that. They try to convince both Eric and Evan/Micah that the other player would be the target when that happens.

Even though Chris T sees voting out Shannon as his best move, his personal feelings are leading him to save her. He tries to get Eric, who is the one person that does not want Shannon to go. He actually doesn't believe that his group are targeting Shannon at first, which makes Holli's next conversation very awkward. Eric is adamant about not doing it, and just tries to get Ashley to switch her vote instead, pissing her off. By the time they all arrive for tribal, the vote is still not decided. Eric is discussing names with the other alliance, and Ashley is having a meltdown.

At tribal council, Micah says it's not easy for the 5 to stick together. We go over some of the good relationships, and also some of the bad ones (like Eric and Ashley). Eric doesn't even know who his group are voting for. Holli points out they could fuck themselves if they split votes. Chris T pulls off the immunity necklace, and gives it to Eric, confusing more than a few people.

Bittersweet victory
As we vote, Eric is still not sure. The vote is between Evan and Shannon, with Eric throwing his vote on Alex to cause a tie. It only buys him a few minutes though, and now he has to choose. The votes come back, and Eric decided to ditch his partner. Shannon walks out, Victoria and Chris T both get immunity necklaces as their prize. Chris T laughs at the irony of how he was the last one to find out about his partner.

So the perpetual bottom-dweller finally gets a breather, but at what cost? Did Eric make a mistake in sticking with his side? Guess we'll find out.
