Maryland Outback Episode 14: The Evil Of Evils

Ryan and Chandler feel at Nicole C's mercy now, but are pretty sure she'll vote with them. Nicole C wasn't expecting to have this much power or even make it this far, hence the pickle she finds herself in with regards to conflicting promises.

Nicole C is tagteamed by the boys
The immunity challenge is a test of endurance, with all players asked to hold onto a pole. Nicole C's ankle is still bad, which isn't doing her any favours. Ryan drops out first, since he doesn't think he needs it anyway. Chandler follows, feeling equally confident. Nicole C is out too, but Chandler and Ryan decide to leave her alone to talk to the boys. Big mistake, as Chris L and Steve both try to convince her to vote with them, remind her of the final 3 they made, and Steve drops after getting her word. Welp, there she goes again...more unnecessary deals.

Ryan's dark side comes out
Chandler is quite taken aback when Nicole C tells him that she's voting him out, and lets Ryan know immediately. Ryan blows his top and starts hurling vitriol against her, which requires Steve and Chris L to take her away. Now Chris L wants to vote out Ryan for his behaviour.

With a chance to calm down, Ryan apologizes to Nicole C and is willing to accept the consequences of his actions. Chandler maintains a shred of hope and starts making his last case for how it's a better strategic move to side with them, since Steve is the bigger jury threat. Steve and Chris L are planning to use guilt-trip tactics, a method that Ryan strongly disapproves of.

At tribal council, Ryan and Chandler are hugging in the wake of their impending separation, talking about Nicole C's betrayal. Nicole C says she has way too much power, and is voting Ryan out because he'll be less mad at her. "Would a true friend stay mad at you?" Ryan asks, but Chris L counters that a true friend wouldn't attack her in public like Ryan did. Chandler and Ryan make the case that Steve is the obvious winner (which Chris L disputes) and accuse Nicole C of "voting with her penis". That's enough for this tribal...any small chance Ryan had of staying, he just killed.

Yes, Ryan is voted out unsurprisingly, as Steve remarks about the restraint he showed to hold his tongue. Now he gets to hang out with Siona and root his last remaining friend Chandler on. So much drama and emotion this close to the end, and the worst part is...that might not even be Nicole C's last betrayal.
